Scientific Assistant at the Banking and Finance Institute of the University of Augsburg. Ph.D. thesis on "Risk Management with Macro Deriva-tives – based on stochastic processes in discrete time". Lectures on issues related to credit deriva-tives and credit risk.

January 2003 – December 2004

Completion of Ph.D. thesis (05/2003). Ph.D. Grade: 0,66 (magna cum laude).
Completion of the running scientific projects at University, meanwhile: risk controller in 80% part time. Support of the foreign branches and subsidiaries credit risk control.

January 2005 – April 2006

 

Full time risk controller, concerned with issues of the foreign branches, interest rate risk, credit spread risk and the related credit derivatives, that were mapped in Atlas Front Arena.

April 2006 – September 2008

 

At MEAG Assetmanagement design of methods, valuation, controlling and reporting of credit derivatives, hedge funds and new products (including market-risk related derivatives). MEAG-wide coordination of the New Product Processes, compilation of decision papers, status reports and maintenance of the list of eligible instruments. „Consultant“ for arising special issues like: a) teaching and mentoring of international stipendiaries of Munich Re Group on portfolio management, b) the valuation and assessment of complex credit products and credit derivatives, c) the introduction of new processes on key ratio calculation.
